LOVE Girls Magazine is a magazine for girls, by girls. There are branches in Memphis, TN, Washington D.C., and the Quad Cities. I served as the Senior Assistant Editor of the Quad Cities branch from 2014-2018, Vice President of the Board from 2018-2020 and I currently co-host LOVE Girls the podcast alongside LGM founder Jasmine Babers.
The skills I gained include:
- Magazine layout and design
- Editing and feature writing
- Team management
- Event planning
- Managing a company social media account
- Podcasting
I was also featured on the cover in 2016 (with a strong push from my girls), where I shared my story of depression and how I try to inspire others by telling my story.
